Two JRMSU-TC students who recently figured an accident were unable to claim benefits from SSG insurance fee amid payment thereof.

Dinbheer Sareno, Agricultural Education student and Kevin Baynosa, Bachelor of Secondary Education student were involved in a motorbike accident last October 5, 2016 near the Rodeo Arena in the campus.

The family asked financial help from the SSG to shoulder the hospitalization expenses of the students who suffered injuries but they did not receive any.

SSG president, Jimy Cris Pamor said that “it is the responsibility of the different governors of the departments to make a strategy on how to earn donations. The SSG is no longer liable for the insurance fee since the payments were already sent to the DSAS Office.

The DSAS, Professor Auromar Gutang explained that the SSG insurance fee was not yet given to the insurance company because the money is still not intact. The high school department did not pay their balance yet. But following a meeting in the main campus, they agreed to soon remit the money.

For now, SSG and DSAS’ means is to pass the hat.
